Natural Catastrophe News Update on US Hurricane Season

The Colorado State University report on the hurricane forecast for the 2010 season in the Atlantic basin was recently updated. There has not been any major change in the number of storms being projected since the June forecast but the “Hurricane Days” have been revised upward (see below):

We will not have long to wait to see if their forecast will hold true for the 2010 season. For those of us who live in this part of the world we hope that the actual activity will be far less then their forecast. Only time will tell!
